Svendsen’s Metal Works specializes in repairing, rebuilding and building custom stainless steel and aluminum frames, rails, stanchions, arches, poles, gates, anchor rollers, and much more. We provide solutions for dinghies, Superyachts, and custom rigging for high performance sailing circuits. Through innovative design and production, SMW can fabricate custom parts, equipment, and can repair damaged equipment. For large or complex jobs we are proud members of the Bay Maritime Group and can pool resources well beyond the reach of any other singular boatyard in the area.
Structural Welding
Alongside our sister company, Bay Ship & Yacht, we have some of the best tig, mig, and arc welders in the nation that specialize in thin paneling locations to the re-plating of hulls and decks. For large or complex jobs we are proud members of the Bay Maritime Group and can pool resources well beyond the reach of any other singular boatyard in the area. Our crew certifications remain current with a continuity log that includes, pipe, plate, tubing, angle welding.
Our work is inspected by the USCG to meet their demanding level of quality– no other boatyard in Northern California is as dedicated to working alongside the USCG and other Federal, State, County, and Local authorities like Svendsen's Bay Marine, to ensure absolute work quality and safety on the water.
